HISTORY IN
THE MAKING
Nestling in the foothills of the Pennines, amid the Cheshire countryside sits the historic town of Macclesfield. Macclesfield has been famous for the past three hundred years for producing the finest silk cloth, which has been sold through out the world.
Adamley textiles is located in the village of Langley, two miles outside Macclesfield. The mill has been producing printed fabric on this site for the past fifty years, the process uses water sourced from its own reservoir.
The mill houses an extensive collection of archived designs, including the internationally renowned David Evans Archive. An archive that holds a host of hidden gems waiting to be discovered, and reinvented in textile designers latest collections.
